davidbI came in 1996 to experience a community, where social justice and the arts intersected with Christianity. I work now with our low-income seniors through the Friendly Towers program where there is an emphasis on inter-generational living.

Wir haben immer gerne internationale Besucher bei uns zu Gast. Sie sind uns eine Bereicherung und wir koennen viel voneinander lernen!

Andres & Juan Carlos

brothersWe’re two brothers here from Colombia interning with Grrr Records doing computer graphics. We’re also musicians in a band called EXEGESIS. So we’re also doing some recording at the studio.

AnnaIn Sweden I Googled “social work” and “community” and discovered JPUSA!. Then I emailed and had some conversations on-line before finally deciding. I’m here from September ’til January interning at CCO as an assistant case worker.

intern picI participated in the internship program with the intent of possibly “graduating” and staying on afterwards. So since May I’ve been doing community outreach at CCO. Working at the shelter has been a great experience because, in addition, I am completing my master’s degree in clinical psychology via long distance learning.
